The Pandemic-Enabled version of Managing Humans

There is so much rain in California right now. We’re in dire need of rain, so this is good news, but we’re getting close to the “Thanks. Super. That’s enough”-phase of these rainstorms.

More good news. The fourth edition of Managing Humans is out. With zero planning, I have only just discovered I revise this book every four years. That seems like enough time for the world to change just enough to require changes to the book. In this particular period, the world has changed a lot. Layering the consequences of the pandemic onto this book required editing and adding new chapters… eleven, in fact.

Never did I think when I wrote the first edition that’d be sitting here many years later talking about the fourth edition.
