As We Enter the Holiday Season...
Hi newsletter friends.
Over here in the states, we’re preparing for Thanksgiving, the entryway to the holiday season, and the end of the year. It’s an excellent time to reflect.
The final proofs for Managing Humans v4 are in my inbox; I’ll be glancing over them over the next few days before approving them. I’ve attached the revised cover to the bottom of this mail. It’s a Spring release, not a Fall one, as I previously wrote.
Being Geek is getting a reboot. We’re changing the title and rebranding it as what it should’ve been all along – a leadership book. I’m rereading the whole thing right now and enjoying crossing out chapters that are just awful. I’m also rediscovering existing writing that I’d forgotten. This is scheduled to be done in the Spring. No cover art there yet.
Finally, I’m launching a charity event based on the many Rands shirts that I’ve produced over the years. You can see them at the Cotton Bureau store. I’m matching all proceeds from these shirts and donating them to the National Alliance on Mental Illness. If you’ve appreciated what I’ve written over the past many years, this is a good way to pay it forward.
Those are the updates. You’ll hear from me again in December as the year wraps up because that is historically when I do my best writing. No clue why.
